Katz’s Delicatessen

by cnorthcote

I finally made it to Katz’s!

Katz’s Deli is one of New York’s oldest and most legendary delicatessens. Katz’s has had many a famous visitors, a lot of whom have been immortalized on the wood paneled walls. In addition, Katz’s was also the location for one of the most memorable scenes in “When Harry Met Sally”…funny, right?

While I was at Katz’s, I sampled the matzo ball soup and the pickles. I also tried out the Katz’s Ale, a Brooklyn Brewery creation that is a combination of an IPA and a Porter. Everything was I tried was fantastic. Plus, it was just a fun place to experience. Next time I head to the deli,  I’m going to try the infamous pastrami sandwich!
